away ants and insects from the house. Sprinkle

A cheap way to prevent unwanted grass and weeds
from growing is to sprinkle salt all over the grass
and pour hot water over it.
Brighten colors
Did you know salt is used to set dyes? They can
therefore be used to retain and enhance colors on
clothes. Add half a cup of salt to colored clothes
and load into your machine.
Soothing relief for bee sting
Salt could be used to relief you of pain after a bee
sting. Moist the surface of the affected area and
muddle it up with salt.
Serve as a Mouth wash
Most of us will know this. If you eat anything that
spoils your breath and you don’t have a mouth
wash, you can easily dissolve salt in water and
rinse your mouth with it. It is very effective.

You can use a hot water salt solution to remove
odour from your sink drains. Add salt to boiled water
and pour down the drain.
